Thank you
Everything was perfect especially the delivery delay (I got my bow before some other stuffs I ordered from France at the same time)
The bow is exactly as it s described and will perfect for my needs
The limb kit to step down from my 50# to 40# recon bow work great, had an elbow injury so gives me less stress for now. Love the kit, top quality like the rest.
Great bow. excellent workmanship. I heartily recommend it. Great communication with the seller - Doug is happy to answer any questions. I am very pleased with the purchase. Greetings from Poland 🙂👍.
Love the quality. Made of high grade aluminum. The perfect arrow for the SAS Survival Takedown Bow.
Shoots accurate, built like a tank! I a regular recurve and longbow archer. I bought this to keep in my truck or pack wo fear of limbs being damaged in the hot car. This “thing”, “beast” aka AK47 of the bow world is almost indestructible. But it shoots almost as well as my target competition bows. Unlike my other bows this one is always handy in my car for wherever I am to pull it out of its case, set it up, string it n shoot in less than 2 minutes flat. This thing is so dang strong, if after knocking down game w your last arrow you find you didn’t get a clean kill.....use the SAS as a club to humanly put the deer out of its misery. Love this bow. Well thought out. I also have Spectre Nomad, and though I like it, the Nomad’s durability does not compare at all to the SAS!**update**. Forgot to mention the bow shoots off center ie the “Archer’s Paradox”. It is meant to shoot a tad off center, it is the design as it doesn’t have an inlay arrow shelf. After 5 minutes you get used to it! Same as most Indian/Native American bows would be, ie no shelf but an arrow rest. Also when you get you arrows you may need to turn the nick a bit w pliers to make sure your odd colored feather faces out from the bow. Great quality!!
I haven't used it enough to be any sort of sharp shooter with it but I'm satisfied. It sets up easily, feels sturdy and comfortable to use. The rest is up to me to get gud. I'm pretty confident it could take down deer and feral hogs once my aim is good enough. If I had to nitpick something, I wish it came with more detailed "How To Set This Up For Dummies" type instructions. I'm new to bows. I had to learn over time already after doing it wrong how to set (and use) the nock point, what brace height even means and how to set that, also where to set it, that there is in fact a top and bottom to bow strings, little details like that. Seems like a short printout could have covered those basics better than what was included. Not a full "how to bow" tutorial, but just more specific instructions for setting this specific bow up and everything relevant to that. Even if its like "set brace height to 7 inches by doing this, use google if you wanna know why" type things.I also hate to be that guy, but I feel its a bit over priced as well. I don't mind paying for quality but you're 50+ bucks above a competing product and I really doubt the material costs for these bows justifies their prices. With that said, I don't regret my purchase, and I do think it's a quality product.
Great for survival bag and works well. Price is high at 245.00 bucks but the fact I can hide it because it packs down small and fits in my BOB bag is awesome
First off I'll start by saying I do not personally own this bow, a friend let me use it for a few hours. It's awesome. First I'd like to address the arrow situation that seems to keep getting brought up; take down arrows never have been never will be accurate. You're paying for the quality of the item that is made of aircraft grade aluminum, so it should cost more! The price point on it is actually fairly cheap for the quality, so it's definitely not overpriced! Use your own arrows bought from a reputable local archery/ hunting store, they will work better in every way. I loved how his was set up, but I do not know specifically what string he was using. However again I would suggest going to whatever local shop you've used through your hunting life. It was cool to take down and set up also! As somebody who's hunted his entire life, I'm certainly no stranger to a bow lol but I've never even touched a takedown survival type setup. So it was really cool and a testament to the item itself that somebody who's never touched one of these was able to break it down and set it up quickly and efficiently without any instruction or help. It's just extremely easy! I was also really surprised with how quiet it was, again I've never used one of these, I'm used to a much more robust bow and I don't think I've ever used a recurve long bow before, so I expected this bare string to be much louder and the bow itself to be much much louder without the pulleys and sound killer. Now for the thing everybody's going to be wondering from novice to Olympian, yes it is accurate! I was actually surprised with its accuracy as I've never shot without sights, again I've never used a bear longbow like this, so I was expecting to look like a dork trying to get used to shooting it with any accuracy 😂 but to my absolute amazement, this thing is so easy and intuitive that even a first-timer like me was able to drill vitals on a deer target and group really well. We also used a few paper targets but I don't feel those are great judges of actual accuracy versus the foam animals you're actually shooting for specific areas. But there was no problem at all getting used to this or finding accuracy from the first pull. I was extremely surprised by that and I couldn't stop smiling. The thing really was a blast and wicked easy to pull compared to my bear or moose bow! I would compare it to feeling like a youth compound pull.FYI I used finger pluck and not a trigger! I'm sure those who swear by trigger release will find this just as amusing and accurate.
This is a verified purchase review. First and foremost the company CEO was an absolute pleasure to do business with. I'd accidentally ordered the "Tactical" version of their folding bow and upon emailing him attempting to cancel the order to get the "Recon" instead, he did cancel the order, and sent the Recon without charging me for the difference between the two! Furthermore, his responses via email were always prompt and very helpful. Excellent, and I do mean EXCELLENT customer service. Now onto the bow. I'd done my research on this product for a while prior to buying it (there are many videos about it on YouTube). Its made of a T6 aerospace grade aluminium so its about impossible to break this thing with it's intended use. After owning it for a week and putting about 250 arrows through it, I have to say I am in love with this product. Its very lightweight, comfortable, sturdy and actually quite intuitive. It's very easy to setup and quick to deploy. It feels so comfortable in the hands, when i brought it out for a training session I could not seem to put it down. I ended up shooting over 200 arrows through it in one sitting and kept shooting until my fingers finally got tender/numb from charging the string. It was maybe my 3rd time ever using a bow, and for a complete novice I was actually nailing the target after a short time. 10% of the shots were a direct bullseye from between 10-15 yards. By the time I finished that first two hour practice session I was confident in my ability to hit the target shooting fast and 'instinctively'. If it wasnt for my novice fingers getting swollen I would have been out there all day with this thing. Actually came back out a bit later and put a few more arrows through it despite that. I cannot wait to get back outside with it. This is my first ever bow and I literally couldn't be happier with my purchase. When folded down it fits inside my INCH bag, quiver/carry case and all, and holds the three SAS takedown arrows inside the riser (it can store up to 5) allowing for convenient pack up & deployment. This is an incredibly well thought out and engineered product and makes a superb, solid piece of kit for hunting & survival. This thing looks and feels like it is built to last. Worth every penny and then some. Might just get another for the wife since she liked it too. I highly recommend giving this product a shot. You will NOT be disappointed.
A great compact bow. It take a little getting used to but a great survival bow. Don't judge the bow by the quality of the arrows
I love the fact that I now have a very powerful & hackable survival tool.
I purchased this bow from the company (they had it on sale). This bow is a very well designed heavy-duty bow. I was quite surprised how light it is. I really love shooting with this bow. It shoots very well. I would highly recommend this bow.
Nice and compact, up and running in less than a minute. Not for a day pack, but great for a frame pack. Very happy with this. I would recommend it to anyone. Light and with the 55# it has a great launch.
I bought this because of its compact profile for my emergency survival gear, but in testing it to become familiar with the bow, it shoots so smoothly it has become my "go-to" bow for just plinking targets at ranges of up to 50 yards.Add great customer service from the manufacturer and you have an unbeatable combination
I love everything about this bow. Its exactly as advertised. Wranglerstar on YouTube gave this bow rave reviews. I agree. It's an excellent bow you can carry in a backpack without even noticing it's there. This is a marvel of modern engineering and design. I cant say enough good things. I want to buy one for each of my best friends. Its light and compact, yet powerful and accurate. I've never been this happy. Haha.
Admittedly, one thing I don't really care for is that from what I've noticed, you can't get spare "arms" for it, which in some cases, would be really helpful.Another being that, even for a folding bow (yes, I know; "tactical"), it is quite bulky. It may be designed for combat/survival situations, but that doesn't mean it needs to be like carrying/handling the midsection of a shotgun.Apart from those two details, I really can't complain, given the "heft" of it. The weight, alone, almost feels like it could double as a bow staff if needed (if the bulkiness could be compensated, that is).
